Los Angeles, CA -- Thousands of LA residents were treated to an extraordinary display of fireworks by the local neighborhood drug traffickers, who brought out all the tricks during their 4TH of July celebration.
While the city-sponsored fireworks display dazzled some of the residents in the South Gate, Lynwood, Watts, and South Central neighborhoods, the city's budget could only afford a 15-minute show in a handful of parks, which included low-end firecrackers and unimpressive aerial explosions. This left most residents feeling a bit disappointed, but luckily for them, the neighborhood narco did not have a limited budget and had been smuggling illegal fireworks from Tijuana with every drug trip he had made since the beginning of the year.
Residents reported that long after the last city-sponsored fireworks fizzled out, the narco's awesome rockets continued flying high well into the midnight hour, delivering stunning flashes and spectacular explosion blasts to residents within a 10-mile radius. Some residents even said that towards the end, when their fireworks had run out, the narcos began using grenade launchers to launch grenades into the air.
"It was like a war zone," stated South Gate resident Johnny Mendez. "Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure if those last explosions were not the narcos getting into a firefight with police trying to shut them down. Nonetheless, it was spectacular!"
Other local residents who witnessed the show said they were lucky to live within a few miles from the narcos. They expressed pity towards residents who live farther away and had to settle for city's lame fireworks show.
