Obama snubs high-ranking Hispanics, proving that he doesn't give a crap about them either

San Antonio, Texas -- Most Hispanics are well aware that Obama is just not that into them. He's become the unappreciative boyfriend that is one girl-talk away from being dumped. Obama - of course - doesn't know this yet, and apparently, neither did the powerful and influential Hispanics of this nation, who, prior to being disappointed by the president's indifference towards them this week, were still under the illusion that the president cared about them.
They won't have a problem seeing how one sided their relationship with the president is now, not after the president snubbed their annual conference this week, or better yer, the NALEO (National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials) annual conference - for the third consecutive year, and even though he promised as a candidate in 2008 that he would return as president! Hay dios mio! "Outrageous!", decried NALEO, which has more than 6,000 Hispanic leaders representing major blocs of voters in key states.
What nerve from this man, thinking he can outright snub even the most influential Hispanics.
Perhaps it was their prominent status in this nation; maybe it was their income; quite possibly, it was their social status and level of influence which gave them the impression that Obama cared about them more than he does the average Hispanic. Whatever it may have been, it kept them blind for quite some time, and now, the reality of their relationship with one unappreciative asshole has been revealed to them.
It was reported that instead of his attendance, the president asked them to accept a video address as a substitute – a crappy 20 minute video that was sent to them in VHS format. That's VHS! He couldn't even take the time to create a DVD or upload a video to their website.
Despite still owning a VHS player, which could have been used to watch the video, NALEO refused to accept the low quality VHS tape and sobbingly asked Obama for a noteworthy replacement – something, anything to let them know he respected and valued their relationship. NALEO asked for Attorney General Eric Holder or Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano as potential substitutes. Did they get either of them? Not a chance, amigo. Who did they get? Yawn... Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.
In defense of his support and commitment to Hispanics, Obama said that he has invited his 3 Hispanic friends to the White House twice this year, once to have a few beers with him, and the second time so they could mow his lawn.
Doors open Thursday in San Antonio for the annual conference, but spirits are low among the many influential Hispanics that will be attending. "It's as if he wants our support on the campaign, but is not willing to do anything to earn it", said Miguel Garcia, who will be attending the conference but spent the last few days in tears over the president's decision to snub him.
We have a message for you Mr Garcia: you're exactly right. Welcome to the club.
