Los Angeles, CA -- The Tobacco industry said this week that if the FDA is going to require cigarette boxes to reveal the poisonous extent of cigarettes, then the FDA should also order Takis chips to disclose to its customers that they are consuming pure poison when they eat the incredibly addictive chips.
"By the fall of 2012, we will have to depict in graphic detail the negative health effects of tobacco use, but what about all those other companies that also sell cancer-causing toxins to the public? My little boys' Hispanic friend came over last month and he left behind a bag of Takis Fuego chips. I decided to eat some before I went to bed and, to my horrific surprise, woke up in the hospital", said Walter Scott, official spokesperson for the Tobacco industry.
In just a few years, Takis have become tremendously addictive in the US, especially in the Hispanic community, and their harmful effects have not gone unnoticed. Thousands of cases of 'Takis poisoning" are reported each year, with 2010 topping the list. The tobacco industry has gone as far as to say that Takis have far more detrimental effects on health than cigarettes.
"Those Fuego ones are something else", added Walter Scott. "We don't even know what they put in them, but I'll tell you something: I work for the tobacco industry, and I know when something has poison in it".
